OPM is taking a strategic approach to improving the Federal Hiring Experience and at the center of this effort is OPM’s Hiring Experience (HX) Group. The HX Group is open to all federal agencies, including those using MonsterGov’s MHME, and we encourage you to get involved to get direct access to information on critical federal hiring programs. Final Regulations from OPM on Fair Chance Act
OPM issued final regulations for the Fair Chance to Compete for Jobs Act of 2019, which prevents a hiring agency from collecting information on criminal background and history prior to a conditional offer being made for federal employment. DOL and EEOC Publish Disability Resource Guide
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Labor (DOL) jointly published a resource guide “to help federal agencies better understand the recruitment, hiring and employment of individuals with disabilities.”
